Are we hypnotized, or mesmerized? Can an entire civilization possess a death wish? Can Americans, by our own apathy, encourage their own destruction? Can American citizens be that stupid? Are our leaders that corrupt? Can Americans be that disinterested as the core of their values rots like fish in three-day-old garbage?

Look around fellow Americans. You've got Muslims swearing-in on the Koran in the United States Congress. That book stands diametrically opposed to the U.S. Constitution. Those who follow the Koran expect to kill Jewish and Christian nations. The Koran states it emphatically.

Islamists expect to wipe Christians off the face of the earth! It's the prime directive of those who follow the Koran to "convert or kill all non-believers." And, yet the people of Minnesota elected a man who follows a religion bent on destroying Western humanity.

If all 535 candidates for Congress were Muslims, and became U.S. senators and House members-- they would dismantle our Constitution in a heartbeat and install Sharia Law. How stupid are we as a nation? How naïve? How bankrupt in our apathy toward Islam and its prime directive?

Additionally, how stupid our apathy toward massive legal and illegal immigration! How far will we allow our nation into this nightmare?

"To Serve Man"

Forty years ago, a movie narrated by Rod Serling, "To Serve Man" starred Lloyd Bochner and Susan Cummings. It depicted an alien space craft landing on earth. The head alien gave the people of earth a book. With a special beam, all diseases vanished. Crops grew in abundance. Humans grew fat and happy. Soon, the aliens gave humans free trips back to their home planet. The aliens gave humans a choice to stay on the new planet. Flights left daily. Amazingly, no one returned to earth -- except more space ships for transport.

Where did they go, and what did they do?

Near the end of the movie, Susan Cummings ran up to Bochner with a horrifying look on her face. "What's the problem?" Bochner asked. "This book," she said, "To Serve Man, well, our best experts have deciphered it." "What did they learn?" Bochner asked. Susan Cummings burst into tears, "It's a cookbook!"

There are other provocative movies. Have you seen the current movie, "Children of Men?" Brace yourself and do that ­ then sit somewhere in silence, and think about the consequences.

Believe It, or Not ­ We Are Responsible For the Nightmare

We Can Choose To Stop It ­ If not now, When?

How far do Americans want to continue into this horror movie with a cast of millions of consequences including illegal aliens, violent Muslims landing in our country daily and an annual $700 billion trade deficit? Do you like watching diseases like TB, hepatitis and leprosy imported? Do you find it exciting to watch MS-13 gangs expanding all over our country? What about hospitals bankrupting, prisons exploding and education degraded to the Tower of Babel? Is it fun to watch your neighbors lose their jobs to outsourcing, offshoring and insourcing?

On top of that, our own Congress may insanely pass SB 2611, by Kennedy and McCain, which will legalize up to 30 million illegals and jump legal immigration one hundred percent annually ­ to two million per year. This legislation increases by tens of thousands work visas that take jobs from Americans -- and continues chain migration and anchor babies without pause.

And still, the American public stands like a bunch of sheep in a pasture waiting to be slaughtered. In 2007, Americans remain as stupid and naïve as the humans in "To Serve Man." Our nation adds 100 million people in 33 years with 70 million of them poorly-educated immigrants from Third World countries. Yet, the American public stands like a deer in the headlights. Road-kill!

"The Master Plan" ­ by Bush and Our Congress

President Bush writes a book titled: "THE MASTER PLAN: They Do the Jobs Americans Won't Do." After you decipher his book, here's what it's costing you:

1. $11 billion to $22 billion spent on welfare to illegal aliens each year.

2. $2.2 billion dollars a year spent on food assistance programs such as food stamps, WIC, and free school lunches for illegal aliens.

3. $2.5 billion dollars a year spent on Medicaid for illegal aliens.

4. $12 billion dollars a year spent on primary and secondary school education for children here illegally.

5. $17 billion dollars a year spent for education for the American-born children of illegal aliens, known as anchor babies.

Gilchrist: Illegal Aliens Waging 'Silent War' on U.S.

WASHINGTON -- The U.S. is engaged in "a silent war" conducted by illegal aliens that is causing a higher toll than the war in Iraq, according to the founder of an immigration watchdog group.

While the mainstream media is focused on the Iraq war, this ongoing silent war is "taking its toll in lives and domestic tranquility," said Jim Gilchrist, founder of the Minuteman Project.

"Since 9/11 alone, about 45,000 U.S. residents have been killed in action via homicide or manslaughter at the hands of illegal aliens, and about another quarter of a million to 300,000 have been wounded," Gilchrist told Cybercast News Service in an interview.

Gilchrist said he used the terms "killed in action" and "wounded" intentionally "because essentially, we have a war going on here that's not a declared war, that's not a conventional war, but it is costing us 9,000 lives a year."

That amounted to "about 15 times the rate of KIAs [soldiers killed in action] in Iraq," he said.

Gilchrist said the financial cost was also significant.

Welfare benefit programs used strictly by the illegal immigration population were costing "$400 billion a year - that's four times the annual cost of the war in Iraq," he argued.

Those funds were being spent on "a plethora of related welfare and benefit-type programs, including medication, education, housing, HUD subsidies, Social Security, all that stuff," Gilchrist said.

"Our coffers are being plundered by those who don't deserve them," he noted. "Those programs were earmarked for American citizens."

He said that figure did not include another half-trillion dollars lost each year "due to payroll and income tax fraud from the underground economy created by having 30 million illegal aliens in the United States."

Gilchrist conceded that not all illegal immigrants were working and that not all who are working were doing so "under the table."

"But a good portion of them are, and because they're staying under the radar, no one knows who they are, where they are or what their intentions are."

Estimates of the number of illegal aliens in the U.S. vary considerably, but the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) said the numbers cited by Gilchrist "sound about right."

On the costs to the U.S. economy of illegal immigration, the CIS estimates federal costs per year at only $10.6 billion but notes that the vast majority of costs are incurred at the local and state levels.

Crime statistics relating to illegal immigrants are hazy, but on his website, Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, says that 12 homicides and 13 drunk driving deaths a day are attributed to illegal aliens.

In testimony before the House Judiciary Committee immigration subcommittee in 2005, Manhattan Institute Senior Fellow Heather Mac Donald said that in Los Angeles, 95 percent of all outstanding warrants for homicide and up to two-thirds of all fugitive felony warrants in the first half of the previous year targeted illegal aliens.

Representatives from the National Council of La Raza and the National Immigration Forum declined requests for comment on this article.

According to the Americas Project at the Center for American Progress, the U.S. is "making a futile attempt at using Border Patrol agents and physical barriers to regulate our labor market."

"This massive misapplication of resources fails to make us safer and will not be remedied through appeals to fear, symbolism or by throwing good money after bad," project director Dan Restrepo says on the center's website.

"A safer, modern immigration system must combine border and workplace enforcement with mechanisms to regulate future flows of immigrants into our country and allow the 12 million undocumented already here to emerge from the shadows," he added.

'Multi-ethnic'

Gilchrist, a 56-year-old Marine veteran who received a Purple Heart for wounds sustained during the Vietnam War, founded the Minuteman Project in 2004 after "years of frustrated efforts trying to get a neglectful U.S. government to simply enforce existing immigration laws."

The Minuteman Project describes itself as a "citizens' vigilance operation." Its main activity is to monitor the flow of illegal immigrants across the U.S. border from Mexico, though the group also promotes proactive enforcement of the nation's immigration laws.

As Cybercast News Service previously reported, the group has been opposed by the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), which a year ago accused the group of being "racists" and "cowards."

Earlier this month, Brent Wilkes, national executive director of LULAC, told Cybercast News Service that the Minuteman Project consisted of "pretty crazy folks."

Gilchrist dismissed such accusations as "so ridiculous they hardly even merit a reply. If Wilkes would go to my website, he'd see that we're a multi-ethnic - and I repeat, a multi-ethnic - immigration law-enforcement advocacy group."

"My problem is not with legal immigrants. My grandparents were legal immigrants from Greece, Germany and England," he said, adding that charges of racism are "the last resort of a scoundrel losing an argument."

Still, Gilchrist said he sees a hopeful future regarding illegal immigration, in part because "the Minuteman Project is going to force debate on this issue."

"Immigration is still strong in the hearts and minds of Americans, because it goes right to the preservation of our sovereignty," Gilchrist added. "We just want to preserve a civilized society under the rule of law, under the First Amendment. That's the way the Founding Fathers set it up."

Gilchrist also noted another sign of the group's progress. "We've got a guy who wants to start a chapter up in Canada. He'll be the first non-American to be part of the Minuteman Project."

Illegal Alien Sex Fiends

There are approximately 240,000 illegal immigrant sex offenders in the United States. This staggering statistic, rarely mentioned by the media, was revealed in a study by Deborah Schurman-Kauflin of the Violent Crimes Institute in Atlanta, Georgia. “It is clear,” she says, “that the U.S. public faces a dangerous threat from sex predators who cross the U.S. borders illegally.” What’s more, she adds, “Then they gradually commit worse crimes and are continually released back into society or deported. Those who were deported simply returned illegally again.”

If ever there was an argument for building a border fence, this is it. But other than two stories on WorldNetDaily, generated by an appearance on CNN, we haven’t found any coverage of these extraordinary statistics.

Yet, as reported by Wes Vernon in a new AIM Report, the Bush Administration is embarked on a controversial and secretive plan to effectively erase U.S. borders and establish a North American Union to facilitate the flow of people and goods from Mexico into the U.S.

The study investigated 1,500 cases of “serial rapes, serial murders, sexual homicides, and child molestations committed by illegal immigrants” between January, 1999 and April, 2006. Of the 1,500 cases examined, illegal immigrant offenders were located in 36 states with the highest number of sexual offenders in California, Texas, Arizona, New Jersey, New York, and Florida.

Schurman-Kauflin reports that according to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) records, sex offenders comprise two percent of illegals apprehended. Using the statistics by ICE and the conservative estimate of 12 million illegal immigrants in this country, Schurman-Kauflin estimates there are approximately 240,000 illegal immigrant sex offenders currently residing in the United States. Also using the two-percent figure, this means that 93 sex offenders and 12 serial sex offenders are illegally crossing the border into the U.S. every day.

Of the 1,500 cases examined, 35% were child molestations, 24% were rapes, and 41% were sexual homicides and serial murders; 617 cases. Of the child molestations, 47% of the victims were Hispanic and 36% were Caucasian. In 82% of the cases, the victims were known to their attackers, and 18% were molested by strangers. Of those victims molested by strangers, Schurman-Kauflin reports that “the illegal immigrants typically gained access to the victims after having worked as a day laborer at or near the victims’ homes. Victims ranged in age from one-year-old to 13-years-old, with the average age being six.” Although nearly 30% of the victims of sex crimes by illegal immigrants were illegal immigrants themselves, 70% of the victims were Americans.

In the 358 rape cases investigated, the women were often brutally attacked, and over 70% of the time the rape victims were beaten by their attackers. In addition, in .007% of the cases, the victims were gang-raped by two or more illegal immigrant sex offenders. The study also found that although serial rapists only accounted for three percent of all illegal immigrant rapists, serial rapists averaged five victims, and two of serial rapists examined in this study were confirmed HIV positive. In six percent of the cases of sexual homicide and serial murder, the bodies of the victims were mutilated. Caucasians were the most likely victims of sexual homicide by illegal immigrants. The average age of all victims of sexual homicide by illegal immigrants was 42, but the victims varied in ages from 16 to 81.

Although the illegal immigrant sex offenders came from various countries around the world, the highest number came from Mexico; El Salvador was the country of origin for the next highest number of illegal immigrant sex offenders.

In another testament to how poor security remains along the U.S.-Mexico border, the report found that nearly 63% of the illegal immigrant sex offenders had been deported at least once before prior to committing a sex crime in the U.S. The illegal immigrants who commit sex crimes here in the U.S. typically have committed more crimes than simply entering this country illegally. “Only two percent of the offenders in this study have no history of criminal behavior, beyond crossing the border illegally.”

The media want us to believe that illegal immigrants are the victims, that “undocumented workers” come to the U.S. to do jobs we are not willing to do, and that they come here illegally to find a better life. But as this report clearly shows, Americans are the real victims of illegal immigration and an inept immigration policy.

Since 1999 there have been nearly one million victims of rape, child molestation, sexual homicides, and rape and molestation of handicapped children by illegal immigrants here in the U.S. Remember this fact the next time the media try to tell you about the victims of U.S. immigration policy and border security.

It’s not the “undocumented workers” who are the victims of our immigration policy, it is the one million Americans being raped at the hands of illegal immigrants who are the real victims.

In a May, 2006 column from his Congressional website, Iowa Congressmen Steve King, wrote that every day, eight American children are the victims of a sex crime by illegal immigrants. But our media go out of their way to insist they are law-abiding and merely “undocumented workers.”

Free-for-All Looms for Illegal Aliens

History, however, will not be the lodestar of congressional Democrats drafting their immigration agenda for 2007.

Failing to learn from its past mistakes, Congress is doomed to repeat the history of flawed U.S. immigration legislation set in motion by the Immigration & Naturalization Services Act of 1965 (INSA). That insidious law laid the foundation for the open-door free-for-all we underwrite today.

Subsequent immigration laws, especially Ronald Reagan's Immigration Reform & Control Act of 1986 (IRCA), have managed to push open that door ever wider.

The new Democrat-controlled U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate (by a slim margin and pending the health of Sen. Tim Johnson, D-S.D.) have a strong supporter in the White House for a 2007 version of nouveau émigré legislation.

U.S. citizens, be prepared for a wide-open immigration policy, despite what history would teach us.

An Alphabet of Entitlements

If past is prologue, then the United States is in for yet another budget-busting round of amnesty that may deal the death blow to Social Security as we know it. On Jan. 4, 2007, a secret agreement between the United States of America and Estados Unidos Mexicanos was made public. The agreement, in the mill for several years, will reward Mexicans in the United States illegally with Social Security benefits that will cost U.S. taxpayers billions of dollars.

President George Bush apparently favors the agreement.

These benefits will be in addition to the billions of dollars in benefits that illegal aliens and their families already receive.

Among these are federal food stamps; Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) food subsidies; Medicaid for children of illegal aliens (children born in the United States are citizens, but older siblings often are here illegally), Section 8 housing, Supplemental Security Income (SSI, a federal program funded by general tax revenues), and a lengthy list of other alphabet entitlements.

The Democrats' 2007 immigration agenda features a "pathway to citizenship," which is another name for amnesty for illegal aliens, based on last year's legislation passed by the then-Republican-controlled Senate but stalled by the more conservative Republican-controlled House of Representatives.

Some 16 of those Republican House members are now gone from Capitol Hill, as is their amnesty roadblock.

Although House Speaker Nancy Pelosi failed to list "comprehensive" immigration in her First One Hundred Hours agenda, it will likely be the only 2007 legislation to win White House backing. That pyrrhic victory, however, may well serve to energize the Democrat's liberal-progressive agenda.

Social Security may be the immediate victim of "comprehensive" immigration legislation, but the long-term damage is a further chipping away of U.S. sovereignty.

Crime Pays for Illegals

The granting of legal residency and then citizenship to the millions upon millions of illegal aliens presently in the country and the millions more poised to come will embolden them to declare that crime does pay.

Crossing U.S. borders without inspection, visa overstays, and entries with false and fraudulent documents are, as of this date, still federal crimes in the United States of America. Those persons who cross the U.S. border illegally are de jure (by law) criminals.

This self-evident truth is contrary to the warm and fuzzy picture painted by immigration advocates who portray such aliens as law-abiding, which they are not. Illegal aliens also are de facto criminals.

If they break U.S. immigration laws with immunity, why should they obey any U.S. laws?

The answer is that many do not.

Growing numbers of illegal aliens are habitual lawbreakers. Homocide statistics for the United States in 2006 rank gang killings as a major factor, with many of these killings committed by members of illegal alien gangs such as the notorious MS-13 gang introduced by El Salvadorians in Los Angeles.

INSA and IRCA

The drafters of the Immigration & Naturalization Services Act of 1965 (INSA), have enabled illegal entry and violent crimes by aliens. Even worse, they have skillfully structured U.S. immigration law to weaken the cultural heritage of the United States — a heritage forged in a "melting pot" of legal immigrants from many nations. INSA and its offspring are absurd in the reading — look up the exact wording of the "family unity" and "amnesty" provisions, as just two examples.

These laws have resulted in global disdain for U.S. immigration policy, defiance of immigration law enforcement, and absolute contempt for U.S. borders.

The fruit of a flawed foundation is an unstable structure, and the open-door policy triggered by INSA has resulted in a steady attrition of U.S. culture and the rise of demographic enclaves that refuse to assimilate. Defiant illegal aliens, in contrast to previous generations of legal immigrants, are changing the United States, before our eyes, into a pluralistic nation lacking a national identity.

The social contract is broken.

Non-assimilation is balkanizing a once-united and thus strong people and eroding the ideals of the Republic. Balkanization in the new millennium is giving rise to a national and international vacuum in leadership and civil order.

The enactment of INSA in 1965 changed the demographics of U.S. immigration abruptly.

This single law changed the immigration dynamic, tilting favored status to immigrants from Third-World countries. INSA was a reaction, its drafters said, to a perceived favoritism of European migration that discriminated against Third-World peoples. The year 1965 came in the midst of President Lyndon Johnson's Great Society.

The White House, the U.S. Senate, and the U.S. House of Representatives were controlled by Democrats, who stated without reservation that the Hart-Cellar Senate bill (which became INSA) was a major part of the "Great Society" goal of multiculturalism. INSA proponents, at the same time, assured the electorate that nothing would change for them, that U.S. culture, ethos, heritage, and principles would be preserved. These counter-intuitive assurances by politicians with an agenda have proved utterly false, supporting the effectiveness of the big lie said loud and often.

The nation ought not forget the empty assurances of Senator Edward M. Kennedy (D-MA), who in 1965, as chairman of the Immigration Subcommittee of the Senate Judiciary Committee, declared: "First, our cities will not be flooded with a million immigrants annually. Under the proposed bill, the present level of immigration remains substantially the same . . . Secondly, the ethnic mix of this country will not be upset . . . It will not relax standards of admission. It will not cause American workers to lose their jobs . . ."

Sen. Kennedy has proved to be either a poor prognosticator or a purposeful deceiver. INSA has achieved the goals that he and the law's other main movers Jacob Javits, R-N.Y. and Herbert Lehman, D-N.Y. in the Senate and Congressman Emanuel Celler, D-N.Y., desired a minority-oriented multicultural America, where people of European descent lose ground. The resulting politically correct secular pluralism goal of the "Great Society" legislation, augmented by U.S. Supreme Court decisions, has trumped legitimate civil discourse with claims of "racism."

Secular pluralism began the chipping away of the national sovereignty of the United States. It has facilitated the debasement of Western civilization and has empowered those who would undermine the founding concepts of the U.S. Republic. Legislation does not evolve in isolation; laws have consequences.

A prime example is the Immigration Reform & Control Act of 1986 (IRCA), which began as the Simpson-Mazzoli bill authored by Sen. Alan Simpson, R-Wyo., and Congressman Romano Mazzoli D-Ky.

The bill had two salient provisions: amnesty and employer sanctions. Supporters of the bill, including Sen. Kennedy, D-Mass., promised that these provisions would stop future illegal immigration.

As we well know, amnesty merely served as a welcome mat for a new wave of illegal aliens, and employer sanctions were not enforced.

IRCA amnesty resulted in a dramatic increase in illegal immigration. Street-smart foreign nationals realized that the U.S. Congress had no genuine desire to control the U.S. borders or stop or even limit illegal immigration.

IRCA amnesty was hyped by immigration special interest groups as an opportunity to obtain legal status for those seeking U.S. economic and welfare benefits in the United States. Since 1987 (the deadline for IRCA amnesty), more than a million aliens have entered the United States illegally each year assuming that amnesty had become part and parcel of U.S. immigration policy.

They are about to be proved right.

In retrospect, IRCA employer sanctions can only be characterized as a bureaucratic joke; they were never meant to be enforced. The U.S. government, under Republican and Democratic administrations, never made any effort to seek meaningful employer sanctions against big business, whose members were, after all, major campaign contributors to Republicans and Democrats.

Labor unions joined big business in supporting the entry of illegal aliens into the United States to replenish their shrinking membership numbers and to enhance their political influence.

Unintended Consequences

Open-door immigration proponents have their own agenda. Among these proponents are Jewish, Catholic, and Lutheran activists. California State University-Long Beach professor Kevin B. MacDonald has researched and written on Jewish immigration motivations.

In The Culture of Critique (1998), professor MacDonald asserts that from 1881 onward, people of Jewish descent have been actively involved in shaping U.S. immigration policy and, in 1965, were instrumental in the passage of INSA.

Their minority status in the ethnically and culturally homogeneous U.S. society led them to support altering the immigration quota system to increase the numbers of non-European people.

MacDonald concluded that Jewish interests in the United States advocated liberal immigration policies to provide a U.S. sanctuary for those fleeing anti-Semitic persecution worldwide. Multiculturalism, he observed, serves Jewish interests by making them just one of numerous ethnic and religious groups.

The dilution of political, ethnic, cultural, and religious entities prevents a cohesive grouping that could unite in anti-Semitism. Jewish interests favor a multicultural nation, one divided ethnically, religiously, and socially, which tends to be a safe haven for all.

In practice, however, multiculturalism presents more problems than it solves.

Jewish interests are joined by the Catholic bishops, the Lutheran synods, and other religious organizations in supporting open-door immigration. Mainstream religious organizations seek easy entry for their co-religionists (or potential converts) to the United States, an economically vibrant, politically stable, and humane country in contrast to the brutal, impoverished, oligarchic countries of Mexico and other developing nations.

Smaller religious denominations, among them Buddhist, Hindus, Muslims, Taoists, and Zoroastrians, also aid and abet illegal aliens to advance similar agendas, but have less influence.

Resulting demographic changes are influenced by a range of religious beliefs.

Hispanic aliens are largely Roman Catholic, while East Asian, Middle East, and African aliens are largely Muslim.

In the United States, Hispanics now are the largest minority followed by African-American citizens and illegal black aliens. Today Hispanics and Muslims (legal and illegal) are registering more births per family than are non-Hispanic/non-Muslim citizens, by 3-to-1.

Republican candidates tend to seek the educated Hispanic vote, while Democrat candidates reach out to unskilled, uneducated, and illegal aliens (such as those defiantly waving Mexican flags in street demonstrations).

Democrats believe such persons can be easily influenced to vote (illegally if need be) for Democrats, with promises of yet more entitlements. No one has taken a close look at how many U.S. elections are being decided by illegal voters. U.S. laws dictate that only U.S. citizens have the vote; and to become a U.S. citizen, a person must read and speak English.

The growing campaign for bilingual ballots is an indication that non-English speaking, non-citizens are not only voting in U.S. elections but are being allowed and encouraged to do so.

This continuing dissemblance of U.S. heritage by legislative initiatives is indispensable for the special interest groups that consider the United States too Western civilization-oriented. As a result of incessant legislative attacks and Court decisions, U.S. values have eroded over the past four decades. History demonstrates that a democracy without values easily converts to totalitarianism and the tyranny of a minority.

What can the nation do to resolve the worsening immigration free-for-all? U.S. citizens can keep informed on Senate and House immigration bills. They can insist that their elected officials read and understand proposed immigration bills as well as the compromises that come out of House-Senate legislative committees.
