Help save America | Say NO to Amnesty | Say NO to obama

"There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag, and this excludes the red flag, which symbolizes all wars against liberty and civilization, just as much as it excludes any foreign flag of a nation to which we are hostile...We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people." --Theodore Roosevelt

"This nation is in danger of becoming a Third World nightmare with all the corruption, disease, illiteracy, violence and balkanization known all over the world. We need a 10-year moratorium on all immigration to catch our collective breath and we need deportation of over 10 million illegal aliens in a slow and orderly fashion." --Ed Garrison

“The 1987 amnesty was a failure; rather than reducing illegal immigration, it led to an increase,” FAIR stated. “Any new amnesty measure will further weaken respect for our immigration laws. Therefore, all amnesty measures must be defeated.” --Frosty Wooldridge

This is your nation and this is your time to take action.

Illegal aliens numbers rise in Southeast

ATLANTA — When the Olympic Games came to Atlanta in 1996, a building boom transformed the landscape of downtown and brought with it an influx of Latino immigrants — both legal and illegal.

In the years since, the number of illegal immigrants living in Georgia has skyrocketed, more than doubling to 480,000 from January 2000 to January 2009, according to a new federal report. That gave Georgia the greatest percentage increase among the 10 states with the biggest illegal immigrant populations during those years. Many in metro Atlanta say the explanation for the boom is simple.

"It was because of jobs," said Kathy Brannon, who worked for the suburban city of Chamblee for nearly 30 years. "That's why people have come to this country since it started, for opportunity."

For years, Chamblee was the last stop for three bus companies carrying immigrants from the border city of Brownsville, Texas, said Brannon, the retired city manager. With cheap housing, easy transportation and an abundance of work, the immigrants put down roots and were quick to tell family and friends back home of the opportunities in the Atlanta area.

To get a better sense of how much the illegal immigrant population has grown in Georgia, consider that the state had just 35,000 of them in 1990, according to estimates by the Pew Hispanic Center.

Demographer William Frey of the Brookings Institution said illegal immigrants moved where they could find work in low-skilled fields like construction and the service industry, which were booming across the Sun Belt states along with higher-skilled jobs.

"In a way it could be a sort of badge of success to have a higher undocumented immigrant population" because it means the economy is strong, Frey said.

North Carolina, another fast-growing Southeastern state during those years, is also one of the top 10 states for the sheer size of its illegal immigrant population, estimated at about 370,000 in January 2009 as compared to 260,000 in 2000, according to the report by the Department of Homeland Security's Office of Immigration Statistics. The agency relied on data from the American Community Survey, a nationwide sampling conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau.

The large immigrant populations in Georgia and North Carolina are largely Mexican and undocumented, said Jeff Passel, a senior demographer at the Pew Hispanic Center.

As recently as the 1980s, Southeastern states — with the exception of Florida — had very few immigrants, legal or illegal, Passel said. California, which is still home to about 24 percent of the country's illegal immigrants, used to account for about 40 percent. Five other states — Texas, New York, Florida, Illinois and New Jersey — shared another 40 percent, he said.

But a recession in California in the early 1990s, and a ready supply of low-skilled jobs in other regions prompted immigrants to look elsewhere, especially the Southeast, Passel said.

Immigrants are vital to the economy in the Southeast, especially the agriculture, construction and service industries, said Jerry Gonzalez, executive director of the Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials.

"It started with the Olympics. Atlanta would not have been able to finish the construction in time for the Olympics without immigrant labor, and specifically Mexican immigrant labor," he said. "After that, the housing boom that the Southeast experienced, and specifically Georgia, would not have been possible without immigrant labor."

The impact of illegal immigrants is tough to measure because they generally keep a low profile. But Passel said they are drawn by jobs, so most are employed and have income taxes and social security payments withheld from their paychecks.

While illegal immigrants are not eligible for welfare and many other public benefits, their U.S.-born children are, but they tend to underuse those services, Passel said.

Critics point to hospital emergency rooms, which must treat everybody regardless of their ability to pay, and public schools as places where illegal immigrants are a burden on local communities. Some also blame illegal immigrants for crime and driving down wages for low-skill work.

Nationwide, the report found that the illegal immigrant population grew 27 percent during the study period, though the numbers fell in the last two years. The population was 11.8 million in January 2007. It fell to 11.6 million in January 2008 and dropped to 10.8 million in January 2009. That coincides with the downturn in the U.S. economy, and demographers say the drop is likely to be temporary.

"If you look back over the last 20 years, the inflow of undocumented immigrants goes up and down with the U.S. economy," Passel said.

A rough economy hits illegal immigrants even harder than citizens and legal immigrants, he said. But once the economy rebounds, construction will pick up, as will the service industry, and illegal immigrants will return for those jobs.

Demographers expect the Southeast to bounce back faster than states like California, Nevada and Arizona. And they don't expect hostile attitudes or get-tough laws to keep illegal immigrants from coming back to Georgia.

"The only way you're going to get the illegal immigrant population in Georgia to go down is to legalize them or get rid of the jobs," said Dowell Myers, a specialist in demographic trends at the University of Southern California.

Anchor babies ruining America

Part 1: Accelerating costs of jackpot or anchor babies on American taxpayers

Every year, 400,000 pregnant women enter the United States illegally to birth their babies on American soil. Their children become instant citizens and their mothers become instant wards of the American taxpayer. They enjoy taxpayer paid deliveries in our hospitals, unlimited medical health, K-12 educations, ‘free’ breakfasts and lunches, ‘free’ English as a second language classes and assisted housing, food stamps and social security benefits.

In an excellent expose’ by Mark Cromer, www.capsweb.org, senior writing fellow, titled: “American Jackpot: Remaking America by Birthright Citizenship”
(http://tinyurl.com/ya29za3), he explains phenomenon occurring only in the United States. No other country in the world allows it.

Only one U.S. House congressman named Nathan Deal (R-GA) has entered a bill, HR 1968 to stop this abuse of the 14th Amendment, but his bill has languished in committee for over 10 years: another instance where you Congress sits on its thumbs while you pay and pay.

Unfortunately, this ‘jackpot baby’ syndrome has continued for over 30 years and will continue until someone in Congress stops it.

“Indeed, the United States today stands virtually alone among power-house industrial democracies in granting unequivocal birth citizenship,” said Cromer. “The notion of being an instant American if born on United States soil has been so romanticized at critical junctures in our evolving popular culture it is now seen by many as a fundamental characteristic of the American identity.

“So there’s no small amount of irony in the fact that the policy of granting birthright citizenship in America has become a core gravitational ‘pull factor’ that has resulted in the largest sustained wave of mass human migration ever witnessed in the history of the nation-state; a human tsunami that has played a critical role in the rapid erosion of the quality of life that so many immigrants seek on these shores. It also increasingly poses a non-consensual makeover of the culture that American citizens had neither voice nor vote in unleashing.”

Dr. John C. Eastman, Dean of Chapman University’s law school in Orange, California, is a leading scholar in the nation on constitutional law and has testified before Congress on the issue of birthright citizenship. Eastman states that the framers of the 14th Amendment had no intention of allowing another country to wage demographic warfare against the U.S. and reshaping its culture by means of exploiting birthright citizenship. Eastman said, “We have this common understanding of when you come here to visit, that you are subject to our jurisdiction. You have to obey our traffic laws.

If you come here from England, you have to drive on the right side of the road and not on the left side of the road. But the framers of the 14th Amendment had in mind two different notions of ‘subject to the jurisdiction.’ There was what they called territorial jurisdiction- you have to follow the laws in the place where you are-but there was also this more complete, or allegiance-owing jurisdiction that held that you not only have to follow the laws, but that you owe allegiance to the sovereign.”

MASSIVE FINANCIAL AND CITIZENSHIP FRAUD

Anchor babies, upon birth in a U.S. hospital cost from $6,000.00 to as much as a $500,000.00 per birth depending on complications such as Down’s Syndrome, Autism, heart birth defects, etc. They also cost an average of $9,644.00 each year for their education and thousands more for English classes and breakfast and lunch programs.

“Dr. Edward J. Erler, a political science professor at Cal State San Bernardino, has spoken out against the political malaise and the popular misconception that has blossomed around the continued awarding of citizenship to virtually anyone born in the country,” said Cromer. “Echoing the sentiments of Eastman, Erler points out that the framers of the 14th Amendment sought to reassure the Congress in 1868 that the citizenship provisions did not cover-nor were they crafted with the intent to grant-citizenship to the children of foreign nationals born in the United States.”

“It’s difficult to fathom how those who defy American law can derive benefits for their children by their defiance; or that any sovereign nation would allow such a thing,” Erler said. “That it has been allowed to happen on such a massive scale and has even been encouraged by various groups gets Terry Anderson’s blood boiling. A life-long black resident of South Los Angeles, Anderson has used his talk radio show to decry not only the radical and rapid transformation of traditional black neighborhoods in Los Angeles and the erosion of the black power structure in the face of explosive immigration, but to blast the government’s policy of granting birthright citizenship to illegal immigrants, children by their defiance; or that any sovereign nation would allow such a thing.”

Cromer said, “Ticking off a list of impacts that illegal immigration has brought down on the black working class community-from increased competition for jobs to overcrowded classrooms where black students suffer under a bilingual curriculum-Anderson says illegal immigrants brazenly celebrate “hitting the jackpot” when they have a baby in America.”

“It’s wrong, it’s a misinterpretation and it angers me because that was written for my ancestors,” Anderson says. “And now it is being misused. They took an amendment made for us and turned it around against us.”

As a teacher, I watched the destruction of American classrooms in Denver, LA, Chicago, Detroit, Dallas and Miami. With over 50 different languages in major city schools, millions of fatherless children and no appreciation for or understanding of American educational standards and culture, those anchor babies slowly and today more speedily transform America into another country inside our own country. By 2042, Mexicans and their offspring will become the dominant ethnic group in America according to a recent PEW report.

As we pour over 240,000 legal and illegal immigrants into our country every 30 days, and allow this Jackpot Baby or Anchor Baby phenomenon to continue, American communities, schools and cities cannot, and will not enjoy a happy ending as our civilization balkanizes against itself on multiple levels. If you don’t think it’s happening, take a three day visit to Detroit or Los Angeles. Everyone is from some other country, few speak English, half of them can’t write their name in English and all of them are legal Americans.

Two illegal aliens charged with murder of South Carolina man

On Wednesday, Lexington County sheriff's detectives arrested Erik Ponce Cruz, 23, and Odilon Iglesias Bello, 29, for the murder of William Lee "Willie" Adams, 41, who was stabbed to death on the front porch of his West Columbia home a few days earlier.

According to Lexington County Sheriff James Metts, Adams was acquainted with both men. Adams died from a stab wound to his abdomen with a butcher knife, the fatal stabbing allegedly followed am argument at Adams’ home over money.

A third man, Clayton Clark, 52, has been arrested for lying to police, after initially telling detectives he did not know how Adams was killed, as he was not present. Clark later recanted that claim and identified the two illegal aliens as Adam’s assailants.

Both Cruz and Bello are Mexican nationals, Immigration and Customs Enforcement have been notified of their illegal status and are currently being held without bond in the Lexington County Detention Center.

A few facts on criminal aliens:

-95 percent of homicide warrants in Los Angeles are issued for illegal aliens. Additionally, 67 percent of the 17,000 outstanding fugitive felony warrants in that city are issued for illegal aliens.

-83 percent of homicide warrants in Phoenix are issued for illegal aliens.

-86 percent of homicide warrants issued in Albuquerque, New Mexico are issued for illegal aliens.

-In Operation Predator, ICE arrested and deported 6,085 illegal alien pedophiles. There have been many studies which suggest that each pedophile molests and average of 148 children over their lifetime. Considering that estimate, the deportees alone could have accounted for 900,580 victims.

-29 percent of the U.S. prison population is comprised of illegal aliens, at an annual cost to the American taxpayers of more than $1.6 billion.

Illegal Aliens Continue To Pour Across Southern Border Unabated

While the government would have you believe that illegal aliens are leaving the United States and that illegal immigration has slowed (they'll point to the fact that they say apprehensions are down), your eyes will tell you a different story. Over at Border Invasion Pics you can see video and time lapse photo captures as illegal aliens continue to stream across our borders day after day, night after night. Nobody is stopping them.

Not only are illegal aliens streaming into the United States in great numbers, but as I wrote back in December, illegal aliens are NOT leaving the United States either.

The level of illegal immigration into the United States remains the same, if not greater, in my opinion. Maybe if the Border Patrol was arresting the illegal aliens that are shown in the above pictures their apprehension numbers would be back where they were. Unfortunately the Border Patrol has been hamstrung and in some cases I believe deliberately deployed to areas where there is now little illegal alien traffic. All so that the numbers reported are down.

I'm not much for believing conspiracy theories, but when you see the constant streams like those in the videos above of illegal after illegal, night after night just streaming across like there's a broken dam, you can be sure that it is being purposely allowed. There isn't a broken dam, because there wasn't a dam there to begin with - in the form of a fence.

Illegal aliens filing lawsuits...and getting rich off of the American people

On April 17, 2009, the Orange County Board of Supervisors agreed to pay $3.75 million, plus an additional $900,000 in medical expenses to an illegal alien who was severely beaten by other inmates in the Orange County Central Jail. The Mexican national filed a lawsuit shortly after the incident.

Fernando Ramirez, 24, was in jail after being charged with molesting a 6-year-old girl at a local park. He eventually pled guilty to the lesser charge of battery against a child.

According to his attorney, Ramirez suffered brain damage and now needs help walking. Attorney Mark Eisenberg also claims that his client has been left with an intellect of a 4-year-old child.

Despite the dire financial crisis facing Orange County, Ramirez received the largest settlement ever awarded by the county for an in-custody incident. The Board of Supervisors made their decision in a closed-door session and have since refused any comment on the matter.

Except for one story carried by the Orange County Register, there has been no press coverage of this matter. One would think that an illegal alien child molester becoming a millionaire through taxpayer funding would be big news.

Of course, a story such as this one would make people angry, and maybe even angry enough to hold their elected representatives accountable for the enormous crime wave being perpetrated by this country’s illegal alien population.

Of course, this is not the only such case which will make your blood boil.

A 2008 New York Times article told the incredible story of a1999 Florida car crash which left Guatemalan national Luis Alberto Jimenez's with severe and permanent physical and mental injuries. After spending more than $1 million on Jimenez’s treatment, and failed attempts to secure assistance from the government of Guatemala, the Florida hospital eventually paid to fly Jimenez back to his own country.

The incredible part of the story…Jimenez is sued the Florida hospital, which he claimed “falsely imprisoned” him and deported him against his will, to avoid anymore unpaid medical bills.

Last year, a jury sided with the hospital and Jimenez's lawsuit was dismissed.

Perhaps, the most outrageous example of an illegal alien attempting to use the U.S. legal system as another way of stealing from the American people, came from convicted Mexican drug smuggler Osvalda Aldrete-Davila who was shot by Border Patrol Agent Jose Compean in 2005.

After receiving more than $30,000 worth of medical treatment at a U.S. Army facility for the bullet wound in his rear end, he sued the U.S. Border Patrol for $5 million, claiming that Border Patrol Agents Ramos and Compean violated his civil rights.

Davila is now serving a nine year prison sentence for bringing more than 100 kilos of marijuana across the border.

The U.S. government has been very tight-lipped about the lawsuit, but it appears that the suit was actually settled for an undisclosed amount, and the case has been sealed.

I don’t know which is more outrageous, the now-daily accounts of illegal aliens raping our women and children; our elected officials allowing our land to be transformed into a Third World nation; criminal aliens getting rich off of the U.S. taxpayers: or a complicit mainstream press, eager to assist in the cover-up of our destruction.

obama’s illegal alien auntie still freeloading

Here’s another Obama sweetheart deal you won’t see on C-SPAN.

This morning, the fate of Boston’s most infamous illegal immigrant, Zeituni Polly Onyango (also known as “Aunt Zeituni”) will be determined in a closed-door hearing.

Why in secret? Because Auntie’s saga reveals every embarrassing truth that amnesty advocates and open-borders liberals like Mayor Tom Menino and Gov. Deval Patrick try to hide.

The most important being that illegal immigrants don’t get that way without first doing something, well, illegal.

President Barack Obama’s Aunt Zeituni admits she illegally overstayed her visa. Instead of obeying the law, she went to a judge in 2003 with a bogus request for asylum. She was turned down. She ignored the deportation order and instead filed an appeal. She was told again: It’s illegal for you to stay.

She’s still here.

Aunt Zeituni donated $260 to her nephew’s campaign for president - which is also against the law because she’s not a U.S. citizen. How against the law is it? Remember when the president launched his unprecedented attack against the Supreme Court during his State of the Union? His complaint was that foreigners might donate money to influence U.S. elections.

All these crimes extend from the first crime - violating our immigration laws. It is simply impossible to stay in this country illegally without committing other crimes, like tax fraud and identity theft.

But it’s not the illegal stuff that Aunt Zeituni’s doing that’s so outrageous. It’s what she’s apparently able to do legally and openly.

She is shamelessly - and happily - living in taxpayer-subsidized housing intended for citizens and legal immigrants. Is there some poor American veteran living in a shelter because she’s got this apartment? Aunt Zeituni doesn’t care - why should she? Menino and the Boston Housing Authority don’t.

And now she’s back in court, using taxpayer resources with another bogus bid for asylum. She says she can’t go back to Kenya because of “political turmoil.” Sorry lady, but if that’s the basis for an appeal, nobody would have been allowed back in the White House since Scott Brown’s election.

Aunt Zeituni’s case puts the lie to the old canard that all criminal immigrants are here to work. She gets a stipend from a city program, along with her housing. In fact, as the Center for Immigration Studies points out, illegal immigrant households are far more likely to be on the dole than the average American. She also highlights the obvious truth of the Heritage Foundation study that our 12 million illegal immigrants are a $2.2 trillion net drain on the taxpayers over the course of their lifetimes.

All of which ignores the most obvious and angering question: Why are Boston taxpayers stuck taking care of the aunt of the president of the United States?

She’s got a millionaire in the family right now, one who also happens to live in public housing, by the way. He’s got room, too. Worst case scenario, Joe Biden can bunk with Bo.

Instead we get another secret deal that’s almost certain to keep the taxpayers on the hook. Mr. President, here’s a problem you can solve with a phone call. Get your aunt a plane ticket to Kenya, or D.C., or hey - how about Nebraska?

Call it the Ben Nelson version of immigration reform. We pay for their Medicaid, Omaha pays for your aunt.

Video - Illegal Alien Sets Fire; Kills 5

The devil made him do it.

An illegal immigrant who allegedly set the Brooklyn fire that killed five neighbors told cops the demons in his head led him to torch the crowded building, sources said yesterday.

"He confessed to the arson," a police source said. "He didn't indicate any rational motive."

Daniel Ignacio, 27, a Guatemalan national, was charged yesterday with murder and arson. He was ordered held without bail at his arraignment last night.

Ignacio told cops that evil spirits led him to set off the blaze early Saturday in his Bensonhurst building, filled with deeply religious tenants.

"The demons made me do it," he said, according to a police source.

Ignacio also said he was drunk at the time and that he does "stupid things" when he drinks.

'FIEND' LIVED ON VICTIMS' CHARITY

He whined to cops that he had fallen into a deep depression in recent weeks -- ashamed about making a paltry $8 an hour as a day laborer and heartbroken he lived so far from his family.

Ignacio, who was deported seven years ago but managed to sneak back into the United States, tried to paint himself in a better light when he was walked from the 62nd Precinct.

"I'm not a monster!" he shouted in Spanish to reporters. "I have compassion!"

Ignacio told cops he used paint thinner to set a roll of toilet paper afire with a cigarette lighter in a baby carriage sitting in a hallway near the stairwell, police said.

After setting the blaze, he went upstairs to sleep off his drunken stupor. Flames quickly erupted near the building's front door, cutting off the building's main exit and blocking firefighters from getting upstairs.

Residents awakened to the roaring blaze, which ate through the staircase and collapsed a floor.

Five people perished, including a frantic mother who, with her husband's help, managed to get their two children out of the burning building.

Cops said that when Ignacio realized what he had done, he helped in the dramatic rescue of one of the kids, a 2-year-old boy.

Ignacio, a second-floor tenant, was inside the building as the fire spread. As smoke and flames swept through the structure, he grabbed the boy, Josias Chan, from his parents and safely handed him off to firefighters at a second-floor window. Ignacio then climbed down an FDNY ladder to safety.

Danielle Eaddy, a lawyer who represented Ignacio at the arraignment, praised his client's efforts in rescuing the child. "There are some holes in this case to say the least," she said outside court.

In the days after the fire, survivors, including the boy's widowed father, Miguel Chan, heaped praise on Ignacio.

But Ignacio quickly went from hero to hellion when surveillance video surfaced showing him leaving the 86th Street building, then returning shortly before the fire started.

Chan "feels very betrayed," said the Rev. Erick Salgado, pastor of the Jovenes Cristianos Church, where many of the tenants worship.

"The devil's always going to tell you to do so many things, but you are responsible to choose what to do and what not to do.

"I thanked [Ignacio] for saving Josias. Now I can't believe he's the one who was charged."

Chan's wife, Luisa Ordoñez, 33, died in her husband's arms. Their baby girl remains at a Queens children's hospital with a fractured skull.

Four other people, including Juan Barreno, 28, a construction worker from Guatemala, also died in the blaze.

"Anytime someone starts a fire in a stairwell, it's a deadly fire," an investigator told The Post. "It's the worst you can get. A fire [that starts in an apartment] isn't half as bad."

Cops said Ignacio has at least one prior arrest, for burglary, and was deported back to his native Guatemala in 2003. He sneaked back into the United States a short time later, officials said.

Residents said he moved in two months ago after showing up one day looking for a place to live.

Chan has retained a lawyer for a possible suit. The attorney, Ben Rubinowitz, said Chan wants to know if anyone else can be held responsible for his wife's death.

Officials from the Fire and Buildings departments are continuing to investigate if there were any other contributing factors, such as illegal subdivision, that would have made it more difficult for firefighters to navigate.

Federal agents find 14 illegal aliens in Reseda 'drop house'

Federal agents Monday were investigating a suspected “drop house” in Reseda, where 14 suspected illegal immigrants, mostly Central Americans, were being held against their will, officials said.

Los Angeles police responded late Sunday to the single-story stucco home in the 7900 block of Newcastle Avenue after one of the captives dialed 911 on a cellphone and reported that captors were not allowing anyone to leave, authorities said.

“The smugglers were attempting to extort more money from their relatives before releasing them or moving them to onward destinations,” said Virginia Kice, a spokeswoman for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Interviews with the 14 — including 10 men and four women — revealed that smugglers had charged them between $5,000 and $7,000 each to transport them into the United States, Kice said. The prices are typical, she said.

It is not uncommon for human-smugglers, known as coyotes, to hold their charges against their will until full payment is received, often from relatives already in the United States, officials say. In this case, Kice said, the coyotes appear to have fled once law enforcement moved in, leaving the migrants alone in the home.
“No one in custody appears to be complicit with the smuggling plot,” Kice said.

The 14 were comprised of 10 Guatemalans, three Salvadorans and one citizen of the Dominican Republic, Kice said. Two were juveniles. All appeared to be illegal immigrants, the spokeswoman noted.

All were in relatively good health, Kice said, showing no outward signs of trauma. None complained of mistreatment, other than being held against their will at the home, she said.

If the smuggling case advances, some could be held as witnesses, while others will be processed for return to their home countries.

“We’re following any leads in the case and we’ll see where that takes us,” Kice said.

No weapons were found at the scene, Kice said, but investigators did discover ledgers and other paperwork likely linked to the smuggling scheme. Smugglers typically use such drop houses as staging areas for immigrants recently smuggled in via the U.S.-Mexico border.

The migrants generally remain at the homes until the smugglers arrange to move them to their ultimate destinations. Migrants depend on the coyotes for their transport but face being victimized by them.

Human trafficking is a major industry along the U.S.-Mexico border, with tentacles stretching throughout the United States, Mexico, Central America and elsewhere. Smugglers seek full payment before final delivery of their clients, authorities say, sometimes holding migrants hostage until the bill is paid.

In some cases, Kice said, officials have found safe houses locked from the outside and with all the windows barred to prevent anyone from leaving. Cross-border traffic of undocumented immigrants has slowed as the U.S. economy slumped, officials say, but many continue to come north illegally, often seeking to reunite with loved ones already in the United States.

Currently, Kice said, authorities discover about one drop house a month in the Los Angeles area. Many others are never found, as the illegal immigrants are moved on to U.S. cities and towns, never attracting the attention of law enforcement.
